Details
An RV or camper spends most of its life parked outside, which is a harder assignment than most vehicles get. Constant UV, rain, tree sap and road film do their work slowly, and by the time gelcoat or painted fiberglass looks chalky, the damage is in the surface rather than on it.
Hydrosilex Camper & RV Ceramic Spray Coating leaves a slick, water-repellent layer on the surface so water beads and sheets off instead of sitting and drying into spots. Dirt has less to hold onto, so washing takes less time and less scrubbing — which is the real benefit on a surface as large as an RV sidewall.
How to use it
- Wash and dry the surface completely first. A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so do not skip this.
- Work in the shade on a cool surface, one panel at a time.
- Mist onto the panel or onto a microfiber applicator.
- Spread evenly, then level with a second clean microfiber before it flashes.
- Let it cure before exposing it to rain. Check the label for the cure time on your batch.
Where it works
- Gelcoat and painted fiberglass sidewalls
- Glass, aluminum trim and most exterior plastics
- Also works on tow vehicles, UTV plastics and trailers
