The Can-Am Commander is hard on belts, and the belt you need depends on which generation you own. Fix'N Offroad carries Hunterworks USA-made CVT drive belts for both: the HW 521KM for 2011-2020 Commander and Commander MAX 800 and 1000, and the HW CAX3M for the 2021-2025 Commander 1000 (this one does not fit the 700). Commander clutches need the right tools to service. We stock the Hunterworks Can-Am belt change tool for three-roller secondary clutches, which covers the 2021-2025 Commander 1000, the Can-Am ATV/UTV clutch puller for 2011-2020 Commanders, secondary roller pin pulling tools and Can-Am secondary clutch roller kits. The belt change tool is the difference between a ten-minute trailside swap and an afternoon of prying.
