Ski-Doo belts get asked to do something UTV belts never do: engage at full throttle from a dead stop, hold high RPM for minutes at a time, and do it while cold-soaked. That combination is why sled belts are consumables and why keeping a spare under the hood is standard practice.
Fix'N Offroad carries Hunterworks USA-made snowmobile belts for Ski-Doo: the 600 belt, which replaces part number 417300551, and the 850/900 belt, which replaces part number 417300571.
Two things extend sled belt life more than any purchase: warm the machine up before hard pulls so the belt is not stiff when it gets loaded, and check belt deflection so it is riding at the correct height in the sheaves. A belt sitting at the wrong height is being worn out by geometry rather than by power.
