Clutch Inline Blower Polaris General and XP
$183.00
Details
The General is built to be a trail machine and a work machine at the same time, which means it spends a lot of its life at low ground speed with a load — towing, plowing, crawling. That is the duty cycle that puts the most heat into a CVT belt, and it is also when the factory clutch fan, which turns with the primary, is doing the least.
The Hunterworks inline clutch blower is an electric fan in the CVT ductwork. It ventilates the clutch housing on its own, independent of engine RPM.
Fitment
- 2016-2024 Polaris General and General XP
- Part #10038
Specifications
- Pulls approximately 140 CFM through the clutch ductwork, enhancing the OEM clutch fan
- Low amp draw DC fan: 2.0 amp startup, 1.7 amp continuous
- Motor is water and dust resistant and designed for adverse conditions
- Heavy-duty welded aluminum construction
- Factory connector for a true plug-and-play install with quick disconnect
Install notes
This is an active venting system that expels hot air from the clutch housing even at low ground speeds, and pulls belt dust and fine debris out with it. It does not obstruct belt changes. See the Hunterworks tech article and the installation instructions PDF.
