Hunterworks 2016-2025 Polaris General 1000 NONXP Belt

The Polaris General is the machine people buy when they want one side-by-side that works and plays, and that mixed duty cycle is hard on a belt. A General spends part of its life crawling with a load in the bed and part of it being ridden like a RZR, and the CVT has to survive both. This is the Hunterworks USA-made replacement for the non-XP General — stronger cord, a compound that tolerates more heat, and tighter tolerances than the belt Polaris ships.

• 2016-2025 Polaris General 1000 (non-XP) — two seat
• 2016-2025 Polaris General 4 1000 (non-XP) — four seat
• Includes EPS, Deluxe and Premium trims of the non-XP General

Installation notes

• Check clutch alignment before the new belt goes in — the Hunterworks alignment tool for 2016-2025 Polaris 1000 models covers all General models.
• Clean belt dust out of the primary and secondary and inspect the sheave faces for glazing.
• Make sure the CVT intake and exhaust ducting is seated and clear.
• Break the belt in gently for the first 25-30 miles.
