Hunterworks 2020-2025 Polaris Ranger 1000 SOHC (Non-XP) Belt

The SOHC Ranger 1000 is the non-XP work machine, and Polaris built it to be used hard for not much money. The CVT is the part that notices. Towing, plowing, food plots and low-range crawling all put heat into the belt faster than the clutch housing can carry it away, and heat is what ends belts. This is the Hunterworks USA-made replacement.

2020-2025 Polaris Ranger 1000 SOHC, non-XP only. Hunterworks part number HW NONXP.

This is not the Ranger XP 1000 belt. The XP and the SOHC non-XP are different machines with different belts, and they get confused constantly because the names look nearly identical on a title. If you are not certain which one you have, call (662) 631-9254 before ordering and we will confirm it — that call costs nothing and a wrong belt costs you a weekend.

Install notes

Use low range when the machine is loaded. That one habit extends belt life on a Ranger more than any parts purchase. With the cover off, clean the belt dust out of the sheaves and make sure the CVT ducting is sealed and clear.

If your SOHC 1000 has high hours and has started to bog or shudder on takeoff, the belt may be the symptom rather than the cause — a worn primary does that. The Duraclutch R-Series system for the Ranger SOHC 1000 addresses it properly. We will tell you honestly which one you need.
