(Hunterworks Alignment Tool) 2020-2024 Polaris Ranger SOHC 1000

The 2020-2024 Ranger SOHC 1000 uses a different clutch geometry than the XP, and it needs its own alignment tool. The Hunterworks CAT SOHC1000 measures the spacing and offset between the crankshaft and the transmission input shaft so you can see whether your clutches are running true — before you spend money on another belt.

Install notes

Remove the clutch cover and both clutches, then set the tool across the crank and transmission shafts. Misalignment twists the belt once per revolution. It does not announce itself with a noise or a warning light — it just shortens belt life, and it keeps doing it to every new belt you install until the geometry is corrected. Check it after any engine or transmission R&R, and any time belt life is not what it should be.
