Install notes

Two habits extend sled belt life more than any purchase. First, warm the machine and the belt before hard pulls — a cold belt is stiff at exactly the moment it is being asked to do the most work, and that is where most early failures start. Second, check belt deflection so the belt rides at the correct height in the sheaves. A belt sitting too high or too low is being worn out by geometry, not by power. Carry the old belt as a spare once the new one is in.
