Hunterworks Rocks & Mud Polaris RZR, General CVT Drive Belt

The Rocks and Mud edition Hunterworks belt is built for one specific kind of riding: slow, technical, low-speed work where the clutch never gets to open up. It is wider, thicker and longer than the standard belt, which gives it more grip in the sheaves and a lower engagement RPM — smoother takeoff and less slip when you are picking your way through rocks or pulling through mud.

Read this before you buy. This is not a high-speed belt and it is not a dune belt. If you ride at sustained high speed, the standard Hunterworks belt is the correct choice, not this one. Hunterworks has an explanation video covering the difference.

Install notes

Because this belt is a different size than stock, check clutch alignment and belt deflection after it goes in rather than assuming the old settings carry over. Clean the belt dust out of the sheaves first and look at the clutch faces for glazing while the cover is off. If you also do high-speed riding on the same machine, keep a standard belt in the spares box and swap for those trips.
