Kawasaki Ridge Belt Change Tool

The Hunterworks belt change tool for the Kawasaki Ridge. Instead of pulling the primary clutch every time you need a belt, this tool threads into the secondary clutch and spreads the sheaves so the old belt drops out and the new one goes in. It turns a shop job into a ten-minute repair you can do at the trailhead with a socket.

How it is used

Remove the CVT cover, thread the tool into the secondary clutch, and turn it with a 17mm socket (grade 8.8 hardware). As it tightens, the secondary sheaves open and the belt drops into the valley. Lift the belt off, install the new one, then back the tool out so the sheaves close on the fresh belt.
