Polaris RZR/Xpedition Clutch Tool Package

If you are going to service the primary clutch on a 2024 RZR XP 1000 or Xpedition, you need two tools before you start: something to hold the clutch still, and something to break the spider nut loose. This package is both, bought together, so the job does not stop halfway.

A clutch puller is sold separately and is worth adding if you do not already own one — the holder and spider nut tool take the clutch apart, the puller is what gets it off the crankshaft in the first place.

Install notes

The holder keeps the primary from rotating so you can apply real torque without putting a screwdriver through the sheaves or letting the engine take the load. The spider nut tool is what actually removes the spider so the clutch can come apart for weight, spring or bushing work. Torque everything back to the factory specification on reassembly — a clutch bolt that is left loose will walk on the taper and destroy both the clutch and the crank.
