Clutch Inline Blower for Polaris RZR XP 1000

The RZR XP 1000 has been in production for over a decade and the CVT cooling setup has never really been the strong point. The clutch-mounted fan only moves air proportional to engine speed, so on slow technical trails — where the belt is slipping most and generating the most heat — it is barely working.

The Hunterworks inline clutch blower adds an electric fan to the CVT ductwork that runs on its own, pulling air through the clutch housing at any ground speed.

• Pulls approximately 140 CFM through the clutch ductwork, working alongside the OEM clutch fan
• Low amp draw DC fan: 2.0 amp startup, 1.7 amp continuous
• Water- and dust-resistant motor built for adverse conditions
• Heavy-duty welded aluminum housing
• Factory connector for a true plug-and-play install with quick disconnect

Install notes

This is an active venting system — it expels hot air from the clutch housing even when you are barely moving, and it vacuums belt dust and grit out of the clutch cover area at the same time. It does not get in the way of a belt change. See the Hunterworks tech article and wiring info.

If you are replacing belts more than once a season, airflow is only one of three things to check. Confirm clutch alignment and look for glazing on the sheaves before you spend money.
