(Hunterworks Alignment Tool) 2014-2015 Polaris RZR XP 1000

The 2014-2015 RZR XP 1000 was the first year of the platform, and it uses its own clutch alignment tool. The Hunterworks CAT1415 sets across the crankshaft and the transmission input shaft and shows you whether the spacing and the alignment are where they should be — which is the one thing worth ruling out before you blame another belt.

Install notes

Remove the clutch cover and both clutches, then fit the tool to the two shafts. On a car that is now ten years old, alignment is worth checking even if the engine has never been out — mounts sag, and a machine that has been rolled or hit hard can carry a misalignment for years while quietly destroying belts. Check it any time the engine or transmission comes out, and any time belt life is short.
