Hunterworks CVT Belt for 2022-2025 Can-Am Commander 700

The Can-Am Commander 700 is the one people order the wrong belt for. It shares a badge with the Commander 1000 but it does not share a belt with it — not in any model year. This is the Hunterworks USA-made belt built for the 700, with stronger cord and a higher-heat compound than the belt the machine came with.

Install notes

You do not need to pull the primary to change this belt. The Can-Am secondary belt change tool spreads the secondary with a 4mm allen head and turns the job into a ten-minute stop.

With the cover off, do three things while you are in there: blow the belt dust out of both sheaves, check the faces for glazing, and confirm the CVT intake and exhaust ducting is intact and sealed. Cracked ducting is a known Can-Am failure point and it will quietly shorten the life of every belt you fit after it.

Break the new belt in over roughly 20-25 miles of easy, varied-speed driving. No full-throttle pulls and no towing until it has seated.
