Hunterworks CVT Belt for 2014-2023 Polaris RZR XP 1000 & XP4

The 2014-2023 RZR XP 1000 is the machine that made the modern sport side-by-side, and its CVT is the part that shows the miles first. A tired or overheated belt on an XP 1000 announces itself the same way every time: soft engagement off the line, a burnt-rubber smell after a hard pull, and a belt that finally lets go somewhere well away from the truck. This is the Hunterworks USA-made replacement, built with a proprietary construction — stronger cord and a compound that tolerates more heat than the belt Polaris ships.

• Does not fit 2024-2025 RZR XP 1000 — those use a different belt

About the "standard" dimension

Standard here means standard dimensions, not standard duty. This is the correctly sized belt for the XP 1000 and it is built stronger than stock. If you ride fast and hard, Hunterworks strongly recommends running their white washer with this belt to set backshift correctly.

Installation notes

• Check clutch alignment before the new belt goes in. Misalignment is the single most common reason a new belt does not last — see the Hunterworks alignment tool for your year.
• Clean the belt dust out of both sheaves and inspect the faces for glazing while the cover is off.
• Confirm the CVT intake and exhaust ducting is sealed and clear. Heat, not power, is what ends belts.
• Break a new belt in gently for the first 25-30 miles rather than launching it cold.
