Hunterworks Clutch Alignment Tool - 2011-2014 RZR XP 900 / XP4

The 2011-2014 RZR XP 900 was the machine that started the performance side-by-side arms race, and a lot of them are still being ridden hard more than a decade later. On a machine with that many hours, clutch alignment is worth checking rather than assuming — engines come out, transmissions get reinstalled, and alignment quietly goes out.

This Hunterworks tool sits on the crankshaft and the transmission shaft of the CVT and tells you in about five minutes whether your center-to-center distance and offset are where Polaris intended, before you burn another belt.

One exception: the 2013 RZR XP 900 Jagged X is its own fitment and takes the CAT1415 instead. For 2015 machines, see the CAT900R; for 2016-2025, the CAT16-.

How to use it

With the clutch cover off and the belt removed, the tool locates on the crankshaft and transmission shaft. In alignment it seats correctly; out of alignment you will know right away. Use it every time the cover is off, and always after engine or transmission work.

A belt being twisted by misaligned clutches wears out on geometry, not on power. No belt brand fixes that — the tool does.
