A USA-made Hunterworks CVT drive belt for the 2020-2025 Polaris General XP 1000 and General XP 4. The General XP is heavy for its power, gets loaded down, and spends a lot of time at trail speed — the combination that puts heat into a belt and keeps it there.

Install notes

Check clutch alignment before the new belt goes in — misalignment does not announce itself, it just shortens belt life until you are changing belts far more often than you should be. Hunterworks also recommends their white washer for riders who spend most of their time at the top of the rev range. Clean the belt dust out of the sheaves and confirm the CVT ducting is sealed while the cover is off.
