CFMoto UForce Drive Belt Guide: Which Belt Fits the 600, 800, 1000 and U10 Pro
The CFMoto UForce is a lot of machine for the money, and that is exactly why so many of them are worked hard. People buy a UForce to tow, haul, plow and crawl a property line — and then discover that the belt is the part that gives up first. CFMoto owners have also historically had almost no good aftermarket belt options, so when the stock belt lets go, most people just put another stock belt in and wait for the same thing to happen again.
This guide covers which belt actually fits each UForce, what OEM number it replaces, why these belts die, and how to change one without pulling the primary clutch. If you would rather just be told the answer, call us at (662) 631-9254 with your year and model and we will confirm it in about a minute.
UForce belt fitment by model
| Machine | Hunterworks part | Replaces CFMoto OEM | Belt |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2013-2024 UForce 600 | HW-CF6M | 0180-055000-0004 | UForce 600 belt |
| 2025 UForce 800 XL | HW-851KM | OJWV-055000-3000-M1 | UForce 800 XL belt |
| 2019-2025 UForce 1000 / 1000 XL | HW-851KM | OJWA-055000-1000 | UForce 1000 belt |
| 2025 UForce U10 Pro / U10 XL | HW-CF10M | ONYV-05400-3000 | U10 Pro / XL belt |
There is also the Hunterworks CF10GC, an exclusive belt developed specifically for the U10 Pro and the UForce 1000 XL. Fix'N Offroad is one of the few dealers in the country carrying it. If you want a non-Hunterworks option for the 1000, the SuperATV Extreme Badass belt for the UForce 1000 and 1000 XL is built around an aramid cord for low-and-slow mud and rock work on big tires.
One warning about CFMoto part numbers. Look closely at those OEM strings — they mix the letter O and the digit zero, and they are very easy to mistype or misread off a worn belt. Two different-looking numbers are sometimes the same part, and two similar-looking numbers are sometimes not. Do not order off a number you squinted at. Order off your year, model and trim, and if there is any doubt, call (662) 631-9254.
Why UForce belts fail
Almost every UForce belt failure comes back to heat, and heat comes from how the machine gets used rather than from the belt itself.
- Low ground speed under load. Towing, plowing and crawling all mean low belt speed. Low belt speed means poor airflow through the CVT, and the belt has no way to shed the heat it is making. This is the single biggest killer.
- High range when it should be low. Lugging a loaded UForce in high range makes the clutch slip at low RPM instead of gripping. Use low. That is what it is for.
- A clutch box full of belt dust and mud. The UForce clutch housing packs up faster than most people expect, and once the intake and exhaust ducting is blocked or cracked, a brand new belt is being cooked from day one.
- Glazed sheave faces. After one slipping belt, the clutch faces get polished. A glazed sheave will smooth out a new belt in short order, so if you have been through two belts, the second one was probably killed by the damage the first one left behind.
- Big tires without re-clutching. Going up in tire size raises the load on the clutch at every speed. The belt absorbs that difference.
How to change a UForce belt
The good news: on a UForce with an Omni Drive clutch you do not have to pull the primary at all. The Hunterworks CFMoto secondary belt change tool threads into the secondary and spreads the sheaves, so the old belt comes out and the new one drops in with a 4mm allen head. It comes with Tink Seal lube so the tool turns instead of galling.
- Park on level ground, engine off and cool, machine in park with the brake set.
- Remove the clutch cover. Expect belt dust — a lot of it.
- Take a photo of the belt routing before anything moves, and note which way the belt was facing.
- Thread the belt change tool into the secondary and spread the sheaves. Do not pry with a screwdriver — that is how sheave faces get gouged, and a gouged sheave eats belts forever after.
- Work the old belt off, then inspect it. Even wear means it simply aged out. Glazed and shiny means it was slipping. Frayed cords on one edge means alignment or a bad sheave. Chunked means shock load.
- Clean both sheaves. Blow the dust out of the housing, wipe the faces, and look for glazing or scoring.
- Check the CVT intake and exhaust ducting. Clear the mud, reseat anything loose, and replace it if it is cracked. This step is the one everybody skips and it is the one that decides how long the new belt lasts.
- Install the new belt in the correct orientation, back the tool out, and refit the cover with all its hardware so the housing actually seals.
- Break it in: about 20 miles of light, varied driving before you tow, plow or load the bed. A belt that gets worked hard in its first mile never reaches its full life.
If you are going deeper than a belt change — servicing the clutch itself — you want the Hunterworks primary clutch puller and the CFMoto clutch holder tool, both for the 2025 U10 Pro. The puller gets the primary off a tapered crankshaft without wrecking the threads; the holder lets you torque the bolt back to spec instead of improvising.
FAQ
Does the UForce 1000 use the same belt as the U10 Pro?
No. The 2019-2025 UForce 1000 and 1000 XL take HW-851KM. The 2025 U10 Pro and U10 XL take HW-CF10M. The CF10GC is a separate exclusive belt developed for the U10 Pro and the UForce 1000 XL. Match the belt to your specific model, not to the UForce name.
Does the UForce 800 XL share a belt with the 1000?
Both are listed as HW-851KM, but they replace different CFMoto OEM numbers. Confirm by year and trim before ordering.
How long should a UForce belt last?
There is no honest single number, because it depends almost entirely on duty cycle. A UForce used for trail riding will go far longer than one that plows a driveway all winter in high range. What matters more than mileage is watching for the warning signs: slipping on takeoff, a burning smell, squealing from the secondary, or a belt that looks glazed.
Should I carry a spare?
Yes. A spare belt and the belt change tool together turn a trip-ending failure into a ten-minute stop. On a work machine a long way from the shop, this is the cheapest insurance you can buy.
Why is my brand new belt already slipping?
Usually glazed sheaves from the belt before it, blocked CVT ducting, or belt deflection set wrong. A new belt does not fix a clutch that is already damaged. Pull the cover and look before you buy a third belt.

CFMoto model naming is genuinely confusing — 600, 800 XL, 1000, 1000 XL, U10 Pro, U10 XL — and fitment changes with displacement, trim and model year. We would much rather talk you through it than sell you the wrong belt.
