The Polaris Scrambler is a sport ATV that gets ridden like one, and its CVT takes the abuse first. Repeated hard acceleration from low speed with very little steady cruising means the belt never gets a chance to shed heat.

Fix'N Offroad carries the Hunterworks USA-made HW-851K CVT belt, which per Hunterworks covers the 2013-2025 Scrambler 850 and 2014-2025 Scrambler 1000 (XP and 1000 S). Note that this is not the same belt as the Sportsman's HW-851KG — one letter separates them and they are not interchangeable. We also stock SuperATV G-Boost heavy-duty belts for the Scrambler.

For clutch work, the Polaris Scrambler and Sportsman primary clutch puller fits 2017-2021 Scrambler and Sportsman 850 and 1000 models. It is one-piece, machined from heat-treated steel and packaged with instructions. The secondary roller kit replaces the plastic pucks that wear square and make the clutch stop backshifting cleanly, which is the real cause behind a lot of repeat belt failures.
