Three-Roller Replacement Rollers for Can-Am Secondary Clutches

Can-Am's three-roller secondaries depend on those rollers moving freely up the helix. Once they're worn or flat-spotted, backshifting suffers and the belt takes the abuse. These are Hunterworks replacements for three-roller Can-Am secondaries.

What you get

• Three rollers. Washers and pivot pins are optional add-ons; they appear in the photo for reference only

Material and treatment

• Low-friction, bearing-grade aerospace carbon composite
• Holds its shape at 300°C (572°F) and above; HDT @1.8MPa is 367°C (693°F); it melts at 373°C (703.4°F)
• Proprietary industrial heat treat: 26 hours, 4 cycles, 2-stage crystal growth, followed by cryogenic stress and fatigue relief
• Coated in a nano-particle lubricant that transfers to the helix and roller pin
• Materials and manufacturing both USA-made

Hunterworks' argument is simple: plastic doesn't reach its listed properties without the right heat treat and crystal growth, and most makers skip it.
